About Us


Danny and Cherokee Hope - son of Helmut and Esther Kienitz and daughter of Jeff and Sherry LeFlore, married June 13 of 2010, preparing for the Peace Corps Paraguay program on February 8th of 2012. We are currently living in Fort Collins Colorado where Cherokee works as an RN and Danny has just finished his BA at CSU. After our three month training beginning on February 8th, we will be health and sanitation volunteers in Paraguay. We are not entirely sure what this entails except that we will spend two thirds of our time educating rural villagers on healthy lifestyle options and the other third of the time constructing latreans and fogons (outdoor cooking fire chimneys).
